Why The Elevator Pitch Is Gold For The Expat Thespian

How can an expat thespian exude the “WOW” factor in 30 seconds or less?  Answer: By using an elevator pitch!  This week is the why & next week is the how.  Today’s post…

Why The Elevator Pitch Is Gold For The Expat Thespian

It Enhances Your YOUnique – We all want that “it” factor that sets us apart from the crowd.  Nothing does that better than being able to say you were a working actor overseas for X amount of years. Find your networking space and use that YOUnique to your advantage!

It Leaves Them Wanting More – Once you drop that hammer about being an expat actor, decision-makers want to know more about your story. The hands you shake and ears that listen are intrigued, so be able to back those words with a solid overseas career.

It Can Solidify Being Remembered – “Who was that young man/lady that worked overseas again?” Words never spoken by anyone an expat actor speaks to.  With an effective brand and foundation you’re etched into their memory and that’s what you want, a greater fan base!

It Helps You Connect Better – When you show people your repertoire of work overseas it signals that you’re an actor with passion. People want to be around others with passion…dedication…grit…Chutzpah (fearlessness)...Expat Thespian!
